Sajni and Aalap | #SheSaidYes!
When Aalap and Sajni's friend Sonam contacted me about planning and photographing Aalap's *surprise* proposal to Sajni, I was SO EXCITED!! Aalap wanted to plan a special moment with all of their close friends there to share in the joy, and chose to pop the question during an afternoon boat ride at The Loeb Boathouse in Central Park, which had been on their summer "Bucket List" of things to do! (the other main item on the Bucket List for Aalap was, of course, proposing to his love!)
I met with Aalap a couple of weeks before the "big moment" to scout out the area, and found my perfect spot at an overlook near the Bow Bridge.
On the day, Aalap, Sajni, and their close friends all piled into boats for what was, to Sajni, a chill afternoon to cap off the summer. As they rowed towards the bridge, their friends drifted off a bit, and Aalap stopped in a secluded corner under the branches to finally pop the question!! Needless to say Sajni was absolutely surprised ...and, of course, She Said Yes!
After the big moment, I snuck Aalap and Sajni off for a quick shoot to cap off the beautiful day.
